The Bible mentions angels almost 300 times from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation. The word angel means “messenger”, and angels bring us messages from God.
After Jesus was tempted in the desert he chose to be ministered to by angels. (Mark 1:13). As the Son of God he could have chosen anyone he wanted to help him. His choice was to be ministered to by angels. Why wouldn’t we make the very same choice?
The Bible makes two things very clear about angels: we are not to worship them, and we are not to pray to them. Angels point us to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They do not want praise and glory. I have found that as I have connected with angels my connection with God has deepened exponentially. That’s what I want for you.

Tell us what to say
But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

Tell us what to do
And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.

Appear to us in dreams & visions
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

Bring us messages from God
And the LORD answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.
So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

Keep us safe
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

Help us watch over our children
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
